What does criminal defence and representation cover?

It covers everything we do for a person who is accused, suspected or summoned, from the first call to the end of the case.

The seven services below follow the order in which a case usually develops: advice, investigation, police and prosecution representation, trial, complaints and dismissal.

How do you choose the right service?

Choose by where the matter is now, not by what you fear it may become. If you are unsure, call and we will place it.

A summons points to investigation defence. A pending court date points to trial defence. A complaint filed against you points to the complaint service.

What should I do first?

  1. Tell us where the paper came from

A summons, complaint or notice shows which authority has the file.

  2. Keep what you were given

Summons, case numbers and messages tell us what stage the case has reached.

  3. Do not give a statement alone

Early advice shapes what is said at the police and the prosecution.

  4. Call, then pick the service

We help you choose, so you do not need to know the answer first.

Frequently asked questions

Do you act for suspects only?

No. We act for suspects, accused persons and, where the situation calls for it, people who have filed a complaint.

Can one lawyer follow the case through every stage?

Where possible we keep the same lawyer from the police stage through to the court, so the file is not re-explained.

This page describes how we act in this type of case. It does not restate the law: the linked guides set out the statutory position and cite the official English text on the UAE Legislation portal, uaelegislation.gov.ae. The Arabic text prevails over translations.

If you or someone close to you is under investigation, speak to us early.

Call or message us at any hour. Tell us what has happened and where the case is. We will explain the next step.
